Mural & Branding Project – Café in Mahallat
Date: July 2025 (Tir 1404)
Duration: 14 days
Medium: Plastic paint (base layers), oil paint, markers on gypsum drywall and plastered walls
Location: Mahallat, Iran
Client: Local café
This project is one of my personal favorites, combining both mural painting and branding design. Alongside the murals, I created the café’s logo and designed various promotional materials, including stamps and window stickers.
The mural work was divided into multiple sections:
Counter Design: An abstract, geometric composition based on the café’s brand colors (black and burgundy), executed with oil paint over a plastic-painted base on gypsum drywall.
Wall Murals: One drywall surface was painted solid black at the client’s request, while another was transformed into a highly detailed mural. This mural featured a crimson background with white circles, each filled with illustrations inspired by cinema, gaming, and abstract design.
Characters such as those from Friends, John Wick, and Heisenberg appeared alongside logos from Marvel, DC, Warner Bros., Netflix, and more.
Additional circles contained abstract and surreal imagery, blending client-driven ideas with my artistic input.
Details were added with black, silver, and gold markers, creating depth and variety.
Doors & Windows: Painted with oil paint to unify the space with the overall design.
The result was a vibrant, detail-rich environment that reflects both the café’s identity and a playful dialogue between pop culture, abstraction, and geometry. For me, this remains one of my best and most enjoyable projects.
