Elementary School Mural – Public Boys’ School in Tehran
Date: September 2016 (Shahrivar 1395)
Duration: 7 days
Medium: High-quality plastic paint, multi-layer application on cement and plaster walls
Location: Tehran, Iran
Client: Public boys’ elementary school
This mural was executed at a public boys’ elementary school in Tehran, where I worked closely with my father, who managed the project. The design and execution were primarily my responsibility, giving me significant creative independence, which made this project particularly memorable.
The walls included both cement and plaster surfaces, and the mural features a variety of child-friendly and whimsical elements, alongside ideological texts written by my father at the administration’s request. Despite the usual limitations of mural painting in Iran, the final piece achieved engaging visual detail and a lively, approachable atmosphere for the students.
